Hello friends :)
What a summer! What a summer. I have dealt with some shit this summer man I am telling you. But also I have learned a lot. Lots and lots. And everything I've dealt with and learned has made me a better person and definitely a better actress.
Recently I have shot a music video, "Burning Good Rubber" a song by Kris Hitchcock and Small Town Son and it is ON YOUTUBE! Awesome. It is so awesome to see something finished!!!! I'm so excited.
And a few days ago I went on an audition.
Other than that there doesn't seem to be much happening. I don't know if it was cause last summer there was the tax incentive, or because I wasn't poor and could drive all over to audition, or cause I was trying harder (I don't think thats the reason... hopefully) but there just seemed to be more for me to do.
Luckily I have a solution to that problem.
I'M MOVING TO NEW YORK CITY!
Officially. September 28. Living with my best friend and old college roommate and auditioning like crazy in a place where there (should be) lots of auditions!
Yay :)
So right now that is my focus: getting to New York. Once I'm there it will be job and auditions and staying there and NOT GIVING UP because that is how you fail as an actress, you give up.
Keep your head up and keep auditioning and remember if it means something to you, you will make it happen.
